Accommodation and Facilities
Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre is open most days of the year and you are very welcome to book in for a few days to enjoy the presence of the Lord here – which includes our warm hospitality, delicious food and acres of space.
There are 19 comfortable bedrooms, six of which are twin-bedded with the option of en-suite or non en-suite facilities. . Many of the rooms are south-facing with good views of the gardens and surroundings.
All bed-linen and towels are provided, and tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room.
Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre is steeped in prayer worship and encounter. Our prayer spaces provide a wealth of opportunity for people to meet with God. The attractive gardens, beautiful prayer walk, peaceful prayer rooms and freedom garden facilitate an encounter with the Lord.
We know you will be inspired to express your creativity and worship in our large, fully equipped art room. With views overlooking the gardens and with a wealth of art materials and inspiration, artists and `non-artists` alike find new expression here as they pray and worship God through art. Due to COVID-19 the Art Room is currently closed. Residential guests can request an individual art pack from reception.
For over 90 years we have been warmly welcoming guests to the Centre to enjoy our famed hospitality. Whether you are coming for the day or staying a few nights we invite you to make yourself at home. Relax in our spacious and comfortable lounge overlooking the garden, or if you prefer a more personal space, we invite you to enjoy a book in our cosy quiet lounge. There is Wi-Fi available in the lounge.
Rhythm of Worship
Guests are invited to join our daily rhythm of prayer and worship in one of our two Chapels. Midday Encounter is a short service led by a Chaplain in the Large Chapel. On Fridays the service is communion. The Chapels have always been a refuge of prayer and can be used by guests to seek God during their stay.
Catering and Diets
Accommodation is full board, half board or bed and breakfast. Meals are freshly prepared on site and include a varied choice.
Our cooks are well aware that people will come to stay who have restricted diets. Please let us know when you book if you have any special dietary requirements.
Ease of Access
The ground floor of the house is accessible for those with mobility problems and this includes two large accessible bedrooms, the dining room, lounge, quiet lounge and the chapels. Our art room is also wheelchair accessible.
Two of our en-suite bedrooms are specially adapted for those with poor mobility, and we offer reduced rates for carers accompanying guests. Read more
