Quiet Days
A meeting place with God
So many people have been blessed by these days; a retreat from the busyness of life. A moment to press pause and like Samuel, begin to recognise God’s voice.
Quiet Days run from 10am to 4pm and are an opportunity to receive and reflect on the input from our Chaplaincy Team. To enjoy Christ centred, Spirit led worship. To be quiet in what is far too often a very noisy world and to enjoy good homecooked food and refreshments. Why not arrive early and start the day with breakfast?
They are led by a variety of leaders who help us experience God`s presence in our midst. These are days that encourage, and offer a deep sense of Christ`s peace to all who take part. Quiet Days are for people who are looking for space to recharge their spiritual batteries. The day includes guided reflection on a theme, worship, time for personal prayer and a 2 course lunch.
The day begins with the first session at 10.00am, usually in the Large Chapel, and finishes with tea at around 3.45pm.
The programme ensures time to enjoy the peace and quiet of the chapels and the beautiful grounds.
There is a fully equipped Art Room available to help you to express through painting or drawing what cannot readily be expressed through words.
The large lounge and quiet lounge also provide comfortable places of quiet for your own relaxation.
Contact us for titles of our Quiet Days and to check spaces available, also to enquire about group bookings as we can provide Quiet Days for groups.
We look forward to welcoming you to this God given place of healing and renewal.
