Themed Healing Space - Blessing

Surrounded by beautiful East Sussex countryside our comfortable healing and retreat centre provides the perfect setting to withdraw to.

Participate in our daily rhythm of worship, receive prayer, express your creativity in our fully equipped art room and encounter the Lord on one of our prayer walks. 

Come and receive from God at this ‘thin’ place where He has been worshipped for over 90 years.  

Guests can choose whether to book the whole period of Themed Healing Space or book any period within these dates.

Theme for the week: Blessing

The idea of blessing can connect alike to people of faith and to people of no particular faith.

“When I worked as a healthcare chaplain most patients and families, irrespective of their beliefs, greeted warmly the idea of receiving a blessing for the day.” (Steve Gurr, Chaplain at Crowhurst) 

Why might this be so, and how do we with insight and discernment pray blessings for one another?

What is it that we are doing when we pray or offer the Lord’s blessing one to another?

Is there power in a blessing, and if so, why??

What insights do the Bible and tradition offer to us?

These days will offer space to explore these thoughts privately, and in small groups if desired.

Arrivals from 2pm-4.30pm.  Please vacate your room by 10am on the day of departure.

Prices per person, per night - 2 options:

1. Accommodation and all meals; breakfast (includes the option of a cooked breakfast), lunch (includes the option of a hot meal) and buffet tea: £105 per night ensuite / £95 non ensuite.

2. Accommodation and breakfast only (includes the option of a cooked breakfast): £85 per night ensuite / £75 per night non ensuite.

Guests have the opportunity to purchase additional refreshments and food from Howard`s Well.
